from the North/ from Amherst Center:
Head south on West St.(Route 116 South) with Amherst College on your left. Proceed past the first light, past the Crocker Farm school, and turn in at Moan and Dove (left at next four way intersection with Pomeroy St.).

from the South/ from I-91 North:
take 91 North to the route 202/Holyoke exit. Take a right onto 202 North, through Holyoke, over river to rotary, quarter turn and stay on North 202. Take exit to Route 116 North / South Hadley. Ramp feeds onto North 116, through South Hadley, past Mt. Holyoke College on right, then through Granby and over the Holyoke Range into South Amherst.You will stay on 116 past Atkins Farms and Hampshire College on your left (Don't turn onto Bay Rd.) The Moan and Dove is on the right just after the four way intersection with Pomeroy St.

from the West/ rt. 9 East/Northampton:
Take Rt. 9 East to through Hadley to Amherst Center/Intersection with 116 South, then use the directions at the top of this page.
For a nice shortcut around the sprawl take Rt. 9 East over the bridge, then Right onto Rt. 47 South. Take a Left onto Bay Rd. (Signs for Atkins and Hampshire College, Eric Carle Museum, etc.) At Intersection with 116 (Atkins on right) take a left and stay left. Pass Hampshire College on your left; The Moan and Dove is on the right just after the four way intersection with Pomeroy St.

from Boston/ all points East:Take I-90 West to the Palmer exit, follow Signs for Umass/Amherst. At the intersection with West Street/ 116 South, take a left and follow the directions at the top of this page.
The shorcut is to take the left hand turn onto Bay Rd. after the Super Stop and Shop on Rt. 9 in Belchertown. Follow it to the right hand turn onto Middle Street in South Amherst, and then the a left turn onto Pomeroy St. past the Cemetary on the right hand side. At bottom of Pomeroy turn right into the Moan and Dove (& Amherst Fish House) parking lot just before the intersection with West St.
